We at Gilda's Club North Texas are celebrating National Women's Friendship Day on Saturday, September 20, 12-3PM. Participants will enjoy a delicious lunch, hear a presentation on nutritious food, do an art workshop together, and watch a make-up demonstration -- a real girls' day out.

Here's another way to celebrate -- have a "Dame Game" night. My sister and I recently developed a party game just for females (17+). Our celebration of National Women's Friendship Day included a speech about the importance of friendship, friendship games, door prizes and an essay contest. We received a proclamation from Governor Blanco declaring the third Sunday in September National Women's Friendship Day in the state of Louisiana.
