	We at Gilda's Club North Texas are celebrating National Women's Friendship Day on Saturday, September 20, 12-3PM. Participants will enjoy a delicious lunch, hear a presentation on nutritious food, do an art workshop together, and watch a make-up demonstration -- a real girls' day out. Ellie Oben Dallas, Texas

	Here's another way to celebrate -- have a "Dame Game" night. My sister and I recently developed a party game just for females (17+). 	Stephanie Shaver of Bowling Green, Kentucky Our women's group hosted a celebration that featured two speakers, Elaine Walker, the mayor of Bowling Green and Julie Ransdell, the wife of the president of Western Kentucky University. They spoke about how their friendships with women helped them make a difference in the community. Mayor Walker also presented a proclamation from the governor of Kentucky proclaiming the third Sunday in September National Women's Friendship Day.
